Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a Day Shift/PRN ER PCT in Westwood, NJ. You will work alongside physicians and nurses to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department, focusing on patient comfort, safety, and throughput.

Requirements include 6 months in acute care, EKG and phlebotomy experience, and BLS certification within 14 days. Preferred credentials include a high school diploma, patient care or above certificates, and ED experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months in an acute care hospital setting.
• Prior experience in performing EKG and phlebotomy procedures.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Patient care or EKG and phlebotomy certificate.
• Cardiac Credentialing International Certification.
• Emergency Department Experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care alongside doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Support patient throughput and overall care quality in the ED setting.

Responsibilities

Patient Care Technicians work alongside doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare environments. The Patient Care Technician plays a vital role in the healthcare delivery setting by improving patient satisfaction by influencing patient throughput.
