Job summary

The Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Tech to assist patients across the lifecycle under supervision of licensed clinical staff. You will provide compassionate care and assist with daily tasks in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Required BCLS upon hire, with CNA certification or completion of a Patient Care Technician program preferred. No experience required, with 1 year of patient care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED preferred.
• No experience required; 1 year patient care experience preferred.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support upon hire required.
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Certification from a Patient Care Technician program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care under supervision of licensed staff.
• Demonstrate competency with treatments, procedures and equipment per hospital policy.
