Job summary

Nacogdoches Medical Center is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to render basic patient care in an assigned unit under supervision. You will take vital signs, assist with treatments, and help meet patient comfort needs in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The position is full-time with night shifts. CNA/Nurse Aide certification and BLS are required; prior CNA experience is preferred to support patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• CNA or Nurse Aide certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Prior nursing assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Render basic patient care in assigned unit and assist licensed nurses.
• Take and record vital signs; observe and report patient condition.
• Obtain specimens and assist with treatments; operate medical devices as directed.
• Meet patient comfort needs and respond to emergencies; provide emergency treatment when needed.
