Responsibilities

• Observes and reports patient status and needs.
• Answers call lights and attends to/reports patient needs.
• Obtains weights, vital signs and reports results.
• Performs glucometer testing and reports results.
• Obtains specimens and transports to designated area.
• Updates patient intake/output and catheter output after measurements.
• Assists patients with ADLs and meals.
• Assists with admissions, transfers and discharges.
