Job summary

Qualifications

• 12 college-level credit hours with English Composition grade C or higher
• GPA 2.0 or greater
• Healthcare experience preferred but not required

• Ability to collaborate with the health care team consistently

Responsibilities

• Assist the patient and family with basic patient care, monitoring, hygiene, and to help ensure care is complete
• Spend the most time in the presence of the patient as part of the care team, showing compassion and excellent human interaction
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the health care team
• Provide education and support as part of hospital hospitality in healthcare
