Job summary

Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility in Denison, TX, seeks a compassionate nursing assistant to work under a licensed nurse, helping meet patients' physical and psychosocial needs with professionalism and timeliness.

You will perform tasks per competency, provide direct patient care with limited invasive procedures, and participate in orientation and ongoing training in BLS and ECC guidelines.

Qualifications

• Reading and numerical competency.
• BLS Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines and ECC requirements will be provided during orientation or transfer.

Qualifications

• Reading and numerical competency.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines and all required Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Healthcare Provider courses will be provided during new hire orientation or upon transfer, and must be completed prior to working in a clinical setting. Handle With Care Within 6 months of hire
• Must be able to provide basic care giving skills to patients. Must have effective communication and time management skills
