Job summary

Hartford Hospital, part of Hartford HealthCare, is hiring a Patient Care Tech to support direct and indirect patient care in a fast-paced unit. No experience required; training provided on-site, and successful completion of PCT orientation is expected.

Under supervision of a Nurse Leader, you'll assist with basic patient care, safety, and comfort, contribute to a positive patient experience, and participate in the clinical ladder for career advancement.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided on-site.
• Successful completion of PCT orientation.
• Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the AHA obtained within 2 months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a Nurse Leader, performs direct and indirect patient care activities.
• Contributes to a safe and efficient care environment and positive patient experience.
• Supports the care team with tasks and assignments in a high-activity unit.
• Career advancement opportunities via the clinical ladder for PCTs based on experience, skills, and certifications.
