Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a Patient Care Tech to support licensed clinicians in delivering compassionate care to patients from birth to older adults. Under supervision, you’ll assist with treatments, procedures and equipment, following hospital policy and safety standards in a fast-paced setting.

Education: HS Diploma or GED preferred; no experience required; 1 year of patient care preferred. Licenses: BCLS required upon hire; CNA and PCT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• No experience required.
• 1 year of patient care experience preferred.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required.
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred.
• Certification from a Patient Care Technician program Preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Patient Care Tech, under supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment.
• Adheres to hospital policy and safety standards in a fast-paced clinical setting.
