Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Tech to support licensed clinicians in direct patient care across all ages. Under supervision, you will assist with treatments, monitor equipment, and ensure safety and comfort for patients in line with hospital policies.

No prior experience is required, with a preference for candidates who have 1 year of patient care experience and who hold BCLS certification upon hire; CNA or PCC program credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• No experience required; 1 year patient care preferred.
• BCLS required upon hire; CNA or PCC program certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Patient Care Tech provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle under supervision of licensed clinical staff, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment per hospital policy.
