Endeavor Health's Patient Care Tech position in the Emergency Department at Highland Park Hospital is a full-time night shift (7pm–7:30am) with rotating weekends. The role focuses on supporting patient care and ensuring patient safety while coordinating with the healthcare team.

Location: Highland Park Hospital
Full-time: 36 hours per week
Hours: Night shift(7pm-7:30am) w/ rotating weekends
Flow of work and character of duties involves normal mental, visual, auditory attention much or all of the time with manual dexterity is required for sustained periods of time.
Requires visual acuity adequate to assess patients and read/record patient charts.
Requires auditory acuity adequate to converse with patients, members of the healthcare team and coworkers who are wearing masks.
Potential for exposure to blood, body fluids and other potentially infectious materials, chemicals and other hazardous conditions which may pose a health risk.
Able to work under pressure to meet patient care needs.
When in the clinical environment, must utilize appropriate patient movement equipment for patient-lifting and transfers when the transfer is a non-emergency situation.
In an urgent event, may need to assist with lifting up to 50 pounds.
When applicable, wear an N95 mask/PAPR and other PPE.
Sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting throughout the shift.
