Job summary

Texoma Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, Denison, TX, seeks a patient care assistant to support licensed nursing staff and help meet the physical and psychosocial needs of patients in a professional, timely manner.

You will perform tasks with competency, provide direct care with limited invasive procedures, and take on additional duties as assigned in a busy acute care environment.

Qualifications

• Reading and numerical competency.
• BLS Healthcare Provider course will be provided during new hire orientation or upon transfer.
• Must be able to provide basic care giving skills and have effective communication and time management.

Qualifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines and all required Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Healthcare Provider courses will be provided during new hire orientation or upon transfer, and must be completed prior to working in a clinical setting. • Must be able to provide basic care giving skills to patients. Must have effective communication and time management skills
