Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous care giving experience preferred.
• Must have BLS Healthcare Provider course; provided during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meeting physical and psychosocial needs of patients under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Provide direct care with limited invasive procedures.
• Report patient welfare and safety to the RN and document appropriately.
• Adhere to delegatable tasks approved by the Texas Board of Nursing.
• Maintain compassionate, timely care and accurate documentation.
