Jackson Memorial Hospital, part of Jackson Health System, is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Med Surg unit in Miami. The role is part-time, with benefits, and involves day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, two shifts per week, under RN supervision to support hygiene, safety, nutrition and comfort needs.

Ideal candidates have 0–3 years of related experience and a high school diploma or GED, with completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Certification and a current CNA license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Certification program required.
• Must have CNA license per unit hire dates.

Responsabilités

• Provide basic patient care under RN supervision and follow care plans.
• Assist in daily patient activities including hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and comfort.
• Prepare supplies and equipment; help with transfers and transport as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient care environment and document care provided.
