Job summary

Sanford Health's East Interstate Family Medicine Clinic in North Dakota is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support patients and families of all ages. Duties include preparing exam rooms, taking vital signs, and assisting nursing staff in daily workflows.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with no weekends or holidays. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered, and experience may be credited toward wages.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of six months' experience preferred.
• Experience in a clinic setting preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medical equipment/supplies preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required or within 60 days of employment.
• If ND and not CNA, must be registered as Nursing Assistant within four months from date of initial employment.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include height, weight, blood pressure, visual acuity, and screening; reception/clerical tasks.
• Prepare patient treatment areas and clean/maintain equipment.
• Monitor stock levels of medical inventory and restock as needed.
• Work with patient registries and support ambulatory services under supervision.
