Job summary

AdventHealth in Land O' Lakes, FL is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care. You will perform procedures under supervision, maintain patient safety, and contribute to a collaborative care team.

The role requires active CNA and related certifications, BLS, and experience in acute care settings. You will participate in safety and quality initiatives while supporting patients and families throughout care delivery.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of PCT experience preferred.
• Bedside patient care in an acute care setting preferred.
• Must have active state certifications listed.

Responsibilities

• Perform treatments per policy, delivering patient care appropriate to age and acuity.
• Respond in clinical emergencies and support nursing staff.
• Participate in performance improvements and safety initiatives.
• Maintain clean, safe patient areas and proper PPE usage.
• Document procedures accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Assist in gathering nursing history and reporting abnormalities.
