Job summary

Sierra Medical Center is a CNA opportunity that is part time at 24 hours per week, with full benefits and a day shift schedule. This role provides direct patient care to high risk patients and indirect care under the direction of an RN or physician.

The CNA assists with activities of daily living, personal care, emotional support, and performs more complex clinical skills under supervision. Maintains patient comfort and safety in a clean environment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Current CNA certification in Nevada required.
• Current BLS certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Completes bedside shift report in the room at the beginning and end of each shift. Ensures patient is providedwith names and contact numbers for members of the care team on the communication board every shift.
• Meets with supervising RN at the beginning of each shift to receive delegation of tasks
• Involves thee patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care

Education
