Job summary

HCA Florida JFK North Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join the nursing team. You will assist Registered Nurses with hands-on care, monitor patient conditions, and help create a safe, welcoming environment for patients.

Your empathy and teamwork will support dignity, comfort, and recovery across the care plan. Responsibilities include patient preparation, mobility, non-medicated care, and maintaining clean, stocked spaces.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Other-Fingerprint Required.
• C.N.A. License Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery.
• Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices.
• Keeping patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will be a vital part of our collaborative nursing team, supporting Registered Nurses in providing hands‑on care and helping create a safe, welcoming environment for patients.
