Job summary

George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC is seeking a dedicated Multi-Skilled Technician to join our renowned academic medical center. You will perform direct patient care under RN supervision and handle non-invasive tasks as competency allows, contributing to high‑quality care in a Level I trauma center.

Requirements include a High School diploma, at least six months of hospital or medical experience, and completion of a CNA/MA course or two years of nursing school.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma
  • At least six months of recent Hospital, long-term care, or medical work experience, which provided knowledge of basic patient-care activities related to Multi-skilled technician duties
  • Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant Course, or two years of nursing school.

Responsibilities

  • Performs direct patient care tasks under the direction of the Registered Nurse and performs various tasks as competency documentation designates. Position provides direct patient care limited to non-invasive procedures, unless specifically certified in phlebotomy.
