Job summary

Medical City Lewisville, part of the Medical City network, is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support Registered Nurses in delivering hands-on care and maintaining a safe, welcoming patient environment. You will assist with daily needs, vital signs, mobility, and personal care while helping monitor conditions and care plans to restore comfort and dignity.

The role emphasizes empathy, teamwork, and adherence to infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery
• Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices
• Keeping patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency
• Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality

Job Summary And Qualifications
