Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Technician for our ambulatory surgery center in Lehi, Utah. You will provide safe patient care by transporting patients, assisting with room turnover, sterile processing, and supply maintenance, while upholding our mission to improve human life.

You will also handle phones and basic computer data entry as part of a collaborative team dedicated to compassionate care. A valid BCLS certification is required upon employment.

Qualifications

• One year patient care assistance in a nursing or environmental services environment.
• Valid BCLS Certification upon employment (online certification not acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the transfer, positioning and transport of your patients.
• Assist in overturning your operating rooms between cases.
• Perform terminal cleaning of your surgical area.
• Maintain sufficient supply levels, cleanliness and orderliness of all your equipment and supplies.
• Answer phones.
• Assist with computer data entry.
