Job summary

HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our compassionate nursing team. You will perform hands-on care, support patient comfort, and help create a safe, welcoming environment for those in our care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support procedures and recovery.
• Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes and skin protection.
• Keep patient areas, operating rooms, and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and environmental logs to keep the team ready and protect patients through infection control.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families, and the care team while promoting safety and quality efforts.
