Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Northside seeks a Patient Care Tech to assist licensed clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care from birth through the lifecycle. The role involves adhering to hospital policy, mastering treatments, procedures, and equipment, and maintaining patient safety at all times.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED (preferred), 1 year of patient care experience (preferred), BCLS upon hire, and may hold CNA certification or a PCT program certificate.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED preferred.
• No experience required.
• 1 year of patient care experience preferred.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire required.
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Certification from a Patient Care Technician program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision of licensed clinical staff, using appropriate treatments, procedures, and equipment in accordance with hospital policy.
• Demonstrate competency in caregiving across the patient lifecycle.
