Job summary

Alpine Surgery Center in Anchorage, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Patient Care Technician to support safe patient transport, OR turnover, and cleanliness in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery setting. You will help with equipment organization, supply maintenance, and assist with phone and data entry tasks.

The role emphasizes teamwork and high-quality patient care. One year of patient care experience and a valid BCLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• One year patient care assistance in a nursing or environmental services environment
• Valid BCLS Certification upon employment (online cert not acceptable)

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the transfer, positioning and transport of your patients
• Assist in overturning your operating rooms between cases
• Perform terminal cleaning of your surgical area
• Maintain sufficient supply levels, cleanliness and orderliness of all your equipment and supplies

Job Summary And Qualifications

We are seeking a Patient Care Technician for our ambulatory surgery center. You will provide safe and effective patient care by transporting patients safely and efficiently while maintaining cleanliness. You will assist with operating room turnover, sterile processing, inventory and supply maintenance. Located next to physical therapy for total joint patients. The center completes over 300 cases a month. Services are in orthopedic and pain management.
