UNM Hospitals is seeking a Nursing Assistant/Patient Care Technician to provide basic patient care including tube insertion, wound care and phlebotomy, and to support the nursing station with clerical duties. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, assisting with ADLs, maintaining the care plan for patients across Neonate to Geriatric age groups, and documenting in the Electronic Medical Record.
Candidates should meet education and CPR requirements; 1 year related experience preferred.

Assist in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the activities occurring in the nursing station by performing clerical and receptionist duties and maintaining the physical environment of the area. Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures. Patient care assignment may include Neonate, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric age groups.
