Job summary

Henry Ford Health's Jackson hospital campus in mid-Michigan seeks a Patient Support Associate to help maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment and support the nursing team with supplies, dietary and transportation needs.

You will assist with basic patient care activities, be part of a community-focused team, and contribute to the patient experience as delegated by the RN. Requires High School Diploma or GED and current CNA certification or PSA experience within the past year.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Current CNA Certification or PSA experience within the past year.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of patient rooms and unit environments.
• Ensure the availability of necessary supplies and equipment for patient care.
• Assist with dietary tasks, including meal delivery and patient nutrition support.
• Provide transportation assistance for patients within the facility.
• Support basic patient care activities as delegated by the Registered Nurse (RN).
