Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Unit Associate I for the Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ. You will assist a Registered Nurse/patient care team, provide nutritional, clinical and transportation services to promote patient comfort, and support a positive work environment while learning and developing skills.

Responsibilities include inventory management, patient transport, and assisting with patient care. Prior experience is preferred, with a HS Diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of health care work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hospital equipment, supplies and procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining inventory, stocking units according to procedures.
• Transporting patients and equipment; delivering records and specimens.
• Assisting nursing and medical staff in delegated direct/indirect patient care activities.
• Performing other relevant duties as assigned.
