Job summary

Southeast Health is seeking a Patient Care Student Intern II for the ED. This per diem, part-time position supports the Registered Nurse in patient care and comfort, using skills from an RN program to assist in the Emergency Department.

The role requires completion of RN program coursework, current enrollment, and readiness to handle emergencies. BLS certification and computer skills are preferred, with daytime shifts and a 0.2 FTE allocation.

Qualifications

• Completion of the first three semesters of the approved curriculum of an RN program.
• Current enrollment in the approved curriculum of an RN program.
• If RN program is completed and NCLEX is not passed on first/second attempt, may be placed in a PCA position with a decrease in rate of pay.
