Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred.
• 0–1 year of medical practice experience or externship is required.
• Knowledge of medical office procedures and patient care techniques.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
• Strong interpersonal, time management and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Infection control practices knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with non-invasive procedures and vital signs.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms and maintain inventory.
• Conduct patient intake, document information and report test results.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals.
• Verify insurance eligibility and manage clinic communications.
• Provide excellent service to patients and staff.
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with policies.
