Qualifications

• Must have completed a recognized medical assistant program.
• High school diploma plus on-the-job experience or MA certification.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Computer skills and proficiency with basic office software.
• Ability to multitask and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to exam rooms.
• Take vital signs and prepare patients for examinations.
• Document chief complaints and medical histories in the electronic medical record.
• Assist physician with exams, ultrasounds, and procedures.
• Perform in-office labs and prepare slides for analyses.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and sanitized rooms and equipment.
• Assist with triage and scheduling of patient appointments.
