RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Patient Sitter to assist nursing staff at RWJU Hamilton Hospital. You will monitor and support patients, communicate clearly with team members, and provide emotional support to patients at risk.

The role requires a high school diploma and BLS certification through the American Heart Association. Day shifts, with rotating weekends and holidays, offer 36 hours weekly and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• BLS required through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with/monitor patients with a variety of medical and psychological issues.
• Supervising patients and alerting nurses or other healthcare professionals when needed.
• Provide emotional support to patients who may be in danger of harming themselves or those around them.
