University of Southern California Arcadia Hospital seeks a dedicated Safety Aide/Patient Care support to assist patients with daily activities, meals, and mobility under RN/LVN supervision. You will implement structured activities, promote infection control and patient privacy, and document patient interactions to support exceptional care.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent; BLS certification is required and a Management of Assaultive Behavior certification may be obtained

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of Nursing Assistant and/or Patient Care Technician Assistant course preferred.
• Nursing Assistant experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist patients to and from activities.
• Assist with meals and feeding.
• Carry out activity plans including group and individual activities and walks.
• Document interactions with patient and family.
• Provide care under supervision of RN/LVN with attention to patient privacy and safety.
