6A is an Acuity Adaptable floor at our Bayhealth Sussex Campus in Milford Delaware. Patients on 6A enjoy private rooms, is very well equipped, clean and organized. 6A is a 24 bed unit where the acuity ranges from Med Surg to Intermediate Care and receives a variety of patients including Neuro and Neuro like conditions. They have great teamwork, participates in the Nurse Residency Program and Shared Governance.
The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients within a assigned unit with a commitment to quality and safety. Professional nursing practices, requiring specialized knowledge judgment and skill are performed using the process in accordance with hospital policy, procedures and nursing philosophy.
