Job summary

Premier Health Partners is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for our Monroe location to support clinical and procedural patient care under supervision. You will room patients, record vitals, perform injections, EKGs, and assist with labs while maintaining high standards of patient experience.

Qualifications include CMA certification, graduation from an MA program, CPR within 90 days, and knowledge of ICD-10/CPT coding with EPIC EMR familiarity.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant with graduation from a recognized Medical Assistant program.
• Prior experience in ambulatory health care facility preferred.
• CPR certification within the first 3 months of employment.
• Familiarity with the EPIC EMR is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Thorough understanding of HIPAA law.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and collecting vitals.
• Administering injections and performing EKGs.
• Conducting pulmonary function tests and breathing treatments.
• Dressing changes and wound care as needed.
• Assisting with lab testing and specimen collection.
• Performing hearing and vision tests.
• Carrying out other duties as assigned with attention to detail.
