Job summary

Walmart Pharmacy in Ames, IA is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care, process and dispense prescriptions, counsel patients, and administer immunizations. You will work to the top of your license and engage with the community.

You will maintain HIPAA/PHI compliance, mentor staff on patient service, and uphold company policies while delivering quality care in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or PharmD degree in Pharmacy; NABP licensure (by entry date).
• ACPE immunization training completion (example: APhA, state association).
• Pharmacy license active by start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care, process and dispense prescriptions accurately.
• Counsel customers on healthcare and prescription needs.
• Administer immunizations and other Walmart programs.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Model and guide staff on customer service approaches.
