Job summary

Rhode Island Primary Care Physician’s Corporation (RIPCPC) is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical operations across a multi-site practice. You will provide direct patient care, take vitals, and assist with examinations under physician supervision.

The role emphasizes accuracy in medical records, administrative duties, and adherence to HIPAA. CMA certification is preferred but not required, with opportunities for growth within a large healthcare network.

Qualifications

• CMA certification preferred, but not required.
• Proficient in medical terminology.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Ability to collaborate with team members on assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and room patients.
• Take and record vitals and medical history.
• Medication reconciliation and vaccine administration per MD.
• Perform EKGs and PHQ-9/GAD-7/SDOH screenings.
• Support clinical operations across multiple sites.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Administrative duties: scheduling, phones, fax, scan, inventory.
• HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Assist with pre-visit planning and care coordination.
