Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Lone Tree, Colorado is seeking a Medical Assistant to room patients, support providers, and perform both clinical and clerical duties. The role prioritizes patient needs and accurate documentation to ensure seamless care delivery.

You'll assist with routine examinations, prepare treatment rooms, and maintain supplies while following KP policies and safety guidelines. BLS certification within 3 months of hire is required.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program with at least 120 clinical hours.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Copy of diploma and transcripts or apprenticeship completion letter from school.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and support scheduling per physician needs.
• Assist physicians and other providers during routine procedures with supplies and instruments.
• Perform clerical duties: charting, check-in, scheduling, and patient communications.
• Prepare examination rooms and maintain stocking of supplies and instruments; ensure sterile technique where required.
• Ensure patient safety and accurate documentation in the medical record.
