Job summary

Ethos Therapy Solutions seeks a Patient Care Liaison to drive new business in the post-acute market. You will identify clients, build a sales pipeline, and educate clinicians and patients on wound care products and therapy expectations.

You will travel to healthcare facilities and patient homes as needed, coordinating with Ethos support staff to ensure seamless transitions to our product portfolio. Strong communication and clinical knowledge are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Learn multiple product lines to become an expert of Ethos Therapy Solutions products and their application and benefit to patient healing.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with healthcare providers, caregivers, and clinicians to promote Ethos products in post-acute environments.
  • Provide education to clinicians, patients, and caregivers on support surface selection, wound assessment, and therapy expectations.
  • Conduct in-person home evaluations to assess patient needs and align therapy surfaces to clinical goals.
  • Coordinate with health care facilities to arrange transitions to Ethos products.
  • Assist with collection and dissemination of information to ensure timely placement of prescribed products within payor guidelines.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to advance treatment outcomes via monthly clinical reviews.
  • Report to Pennsylvania Service Center two days per week to maintain product knowledge.

Job description

The Patient Care Liaison is responsible to implement sales strategies that generate new business within assigned territory in the post-acute market. Incumbents will identify new clients, generate leads, qualify prospects, and monitor and evaluate the patient healing process throughout the care episode. The position will also provide supplemental support to adjacent territory as needed for the purpose of instruction and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Ability to learn multiple product lines to become an expert of Ethos Therapy Solution products, their application and benefit to patient healing.
  • Maintain an on-going relationship with healthcare providers, caregivers, and clinicians to introduce, promote, and increase the sales of Ethos products throughout the post-acute environment including home health, wound care centers, hospital case management and extended care facilities.
  • Provide education to clinicians, patients, and caregivers on support surface selection, wound assessment and staging, therapy expectations and compliance. Provide formal presentations and in-services that detail the clinical and/or financial benefits of Ethos Therapy Solutions’ product portfolio.
  • Conduct in-person home evaluation to help assess patient needs to align therapy surface to clinical goals for the purpose of instruction and environmental compliance. The responsibility for in-person home assessments will cover incumbent territory as well as adjacent territory.
  • Coordinate with the health care facility, provider, and Ethos support staff to arrange for a successful transition to Ethos products.
  • Work with Ethos support staff and referring healthcare professionals to ensure customers’ needs are fully met. Assists, within Medicare or payor guidelines, with the collection and dissemination of information or documentation provided by referral sources to ensure timely placement of prescribed products.
  • Collaborate and engage with health care teams throughout the care episode. Initiate monthly reviews with clinical teams to help advance treatment outcomes.
  • Report to the Pennsylvania Service Center at least two days per week to maintain product knowledge, collaborate with field operations, and stay informed on delivery, installation, and equipment retrieval processes.
  • Completes all required corporate, employment, compliance and departmental training as requested.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of the parameters of clinical product application in the domain of wound management.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with a willingness to learn assessment and clinical techniques.
  • Able to explain information clearly to customers, including product details and basic clinical concepts.
  • Ready to organize tasks and manage time effectively to support company goals and deliver great customer experiences.
Experience and Education:
  • Associate’s degree in healthcare, business, or related field (bachelor preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare support, medical sales coordination, or clinical administration
  • Experience in home health, extended care, or wound care environments a preferred
  • CNA, MA, or similar clinical certification preferred but not required
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to travel extensively by car or commercial flight as needed Ability to travel overnight
