Job summary

PeopleOne Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to deliver administrative and clinical support in an outpatient setting. The role encompasses front-office coordination, patient data entry, and assisting clinicians with patient care while maintaining compassionate service.

Ideal candidates will have completed an approved Medical Assistant program, hold or pursue BLS/AED, and demonstrate proficiency with clinical terminology, data handling, and patient communication.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program.
• Certification preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / AED certification required.
• Phlebotomy certification required for venipuncture or specimen collection.
• Active credential from one of the recognized organizations: CPT, RPT, NCPT, or PBT.
• New hires must obtain the credential within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Support member experience by providing information and resources, handling inquiries, and ensuring member needs are met.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage front-office communications and patient flow.
• Record patient information, collect specimens as needed, and assist clinical staff during procedures.
• Maintain patient files, ensure privacy and regulatory compliance, and monitor office inventory and cleanliness.
