Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing or related field; must obtain within 1 year if pursuing a Master’s.
• NYS RN licensure with current registration.
• At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
• ACCN certification preferred; leadership experience in a large academic medical center.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; mentoring and strategic planning abilities.

Our Patient Care Director is responsible for the leadership of clinical nursing practice, staff recruitment and retention, performance evaluation, supply chain and budget, quality improvement and internal and external regulatory survey requirements. The Patient Care Director collaborates with members of the interdisciplinary team and multiple professionals to support the coordination and management of exceptional patient care. Preferred Criteria American Nurses Credentialing Center approved national board Certification Demonstrated leadership experience within a large academic medical center At Least 2 years of management experience Required Criteria Master's Degree in Nursing or related field if already holds a BSN degree. If currently pursuing a Master’s Degree, must obtain within 1 year of hire. Either bachelors or graduate degree must be in nursing.
