Job summary

MedStar Radiology Network is seeking a Patient Coordinator for a Monday–Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM shift, with occasional Saturday hours, at our outpatient imaging center in Olney, Maryland. The role focuses on patient coordination, registration, scheduling, and delivering excellent patient care.

The team emphasizes compassionate communication, teamwork, and a patient-first approach. Growth opportunities exist within the imaging center’s business office ladder and related roles.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Knowledge of computer applications and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• greet and assist patients, register, and coordinate patient flow within the imaging center.
• Manage phone calls, scheduling of appointments, and patient records.
• Oversee inventory and medical record management; support center operations.
• Assist in training and supervising Business Office team members as needed.
