Job summary

AudioNova, part of Sonova in Sturgis, MI, is seeking a Hearing Care Coordinator (HCC) to support clinic staff and deliver high-quality patient care. The HCC schedules appointments, verifies insurance benefits, and assists physicians and patients onsite.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, handling follow-up calls, processing payments, maintaining records, and supporting inventory and event logistics.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; associates degree preferred.
  • 2+ years experience in a health care environment; prior customer service experience required.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and EMR/EHR is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Schedule/confirm patient appointments and follow-ups.
  • Verify insurance benefits and handle benefit checks.
  • Assist with payments and financial transactions at the point of service.
  • Maintain patient files and intake forms; input data into the system.
  • Support inventory management and supply orders as needed.
  • Assist with event planning and community outreach.
  • General clerical duties and instrument/equipment upkeep.
