At Starling Physicians, we believe quality care should start from the moment a patient is referred to us. Our Cardiology Patient Care Coordinator is a customer-oriented service professional responsible for coordinating and scheduling initial consultations with our cardiologists. They serve as an important first point of contact for new patients and referring offices, helping to ensure a seamless referral process and timely access to cardiology care. The Cardiology PCC processes referrals received through the EHR, fax, email, and telephone and is responsible for managing each referral from initial receipt through completion. This includes reviewing referral information for completeness, obtaining pertinent medical records, communicating with referring offices and patients, and facilitating timely and appropriate scheduling within the Cardiology Department. This is a great opportunity for those interested in or are pursuing a career in the healthcare industry. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to independently manage a high-volume referral workload while supporting timely patient access to cardiology services.
