Job summary

Medix in Portland, OR is seeking an experienced Patient Scheduler to coordinate patient care and services. You will schedule appointments, communicate with patients and families, and work with healthcare staff and referral sources to ensure timely care.

This onsite role requires a high school diploma, and experience in patient scheduling or healthcare customer service. Home health and HCHB experience are highly preferred.

Job description

Salary: USD20 - USD24 per hour

We are looking for experienced Patient Schedulers to join our healthcare team and help coordinate patient care and services. In this role, you’ll be responsible for scheduling and maintaining patient appointments/services, communicating with patients and families, and coordinating with healthcare staff, providers, and referral sources to ensure patients receive the care they need.

This is an onsite opportunity in Portland, OR.

Length: 800 Hours (Approx. 5 months) Contract to Hire opportunity (opportunity to convert to permanent employment upon successful completion of contract period).
