Job summary

Shady Grove Fertility in Arlington, Virginia is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. You will support fertility patients, coordinate care, and help educate patients throughout their treatment journey. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Compensation: $22 to $25 per hour, commensurate with experience. This role offers growth within a nationally respected organization dedicated to compassionate care.

Qualifications

  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail; accurate data entry and speed with computers.
  • Minimum of one year of prior healthcare experience and familiarity with medical terminology.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the clinical care of fertility patients.
  • Provide patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, communicates physician orders and instructions.
  • Provide pre and post op education.
  • Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and patients' families.
  • Work independently to assure the program goals are achieved.
  • Support and promote excellence in customer service.

Qualifications and Skills Include:

  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Strong attention to detail, demonstrated ability to follow-through, and high degree of comfort with computer applications, accuracy and speed with data entry is required
  • Minimum of one year of prior experience in healthcare and familiarity with medical terminology
