Qualifications

• Graduate of State Certified Program is required.
• 1–3 years clinical experience as a nursing student/foreign graduate nurse is required.
• Effective English communication skills (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Assists with activities of daily living (eating, bathing, ambulating) for patients of all ages.
• Meets hygiene and grooming needs (bathing, hair care, oral care).
• Supports mobility via range of motion, ambulation, transfers, and use of devices as directed.
• Maintains skin integrity using turning, positioning and pressure-relief measures.
• Provides patient comfort through bed making, positioning, and rest.
• Assists with elimination needs and urinary catheter care per policy.
• Maintains a safe environment following infection control policies.
• Transports patients to procedures and coordinates with care team.
• Transports patients' records and supplies as needed.
