Job summary

VCA Sandy Lake Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Patient Care Attendant to join our team. This part-time role offers 20-25 hours per week with pay ranging from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour.

You will care for boarded and hospitalized pets, maintain clean cages, feed and walk dogs, bathe animals, and support doctors and technicians as needed. The successful candidate shares our commitment to exceptional service and high-quality animal care, with competitive benefits for eligible employees,

Qualifications

• Experience in veterinary support or client service preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated care for animals and compassionate communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Clean cages and hospital areas.
• Feed and care for dogs and cats.
• Walk and exercise dogs.
• Bathe dogs as needed.
• Perform laundry.
• Assist doctors and technicians during procedures.

The successful candidate will share our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our loyal clientele and the highest quality care to their boarded and hospitalized pets.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning cages.
• Feeding and caring for dogs and cats.
• Walking dogs.
• Bathing dogs.
• Doing laundry.
• Cleaning and maintaining hospital premises.
• Assisting Doctors and Technicians when necessary.
