The PCA will assist with personal hygiene, ambulation, transfers, and maintain a clean, safe environment. Vital signs, phlebotomy, glucose checks, and communication of patient conditions use electronic documentation.

Qualifications

• No experience or certifications required.
• Paid, comprehensive in-classroom and on-the-job training program.

Responsibilities

• Assisting patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, grooming, skin care).
• Assisting patients with ambulation, transfers, and turns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe patient environment to prevent infection.
• Notifying clinical staff of changes in patient condition or safety concerns.
• Applying infection control concepts and techniques.
• Taking vital signs, phlebotomy (blood draws), and glucose checks.
