Mercy in Missouri is hiring for the Patient Care Associate/Patient Care Technician role on 7A. The position offers full- and part-time night shifts with a training path through an accredited PCA program and a potential career ladder to PCT or beyond.

Education is a high school diploma/GED/CNA, with no prior experience required. The job includes phlebotomy, wound care, enteral feeding, and other patient support duties, with comprehensive benefits after day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, CNA/CPTC. or enrolled in a healthcare career program.
• Experience: None required.
• Minimum physical requirements: able to push/pull 50 lbs, stand and walk long shifts, bend/kneel/twist/squat.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and document into the EMR system.
• Assist with patient care needs including meals, bathing, toileting, ambulation, mobility, and transport.
• Phlebotomy/blood cultures; Enteral feeding; Wound care; IV/Foley removal; Trach care/suctioning.
