Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a compassionate patient care assistant to join our care team. In this role you will help patients with daily activities, monitor basic vital signs, and support licensed clinicians to ensure safe, responsive care.

Required education includes a high school diploma or GED and completion of a CNA/CMA/PCT or nursing program, with AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of entering position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Completion of one of the following: CNA, CMA, PCT, Nursing Fundamentals program from an accredited school, or HMH PCT Apprenticeship, or equivalent patient-facing healthcare experience.
