Job summary

The Valley Hospital-Paramus is seeking a dedicated team member to assist the professional staff in direct and indirect patient care, performing EKGs, phlebotomy, and helping with materials management and maintenance as directed.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and either current certification (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, AMCA, NAHP, NCMA) as CNA, CMA, Patient Care Technician, NJ home health aide or EMT; or current enrollment in nursing; or completion of Valley’s 8‑week PCA Fundamentals

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current certification from AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, AMCA, NAHP or NCMA in CNA/CMA/PCT/EMT, or equivalent.
• Alternatively, enrolled nursing student or completion of Valley PCA Fundamentals with BLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Participate in direct and indirect patient care per policy.
• Perform EKGs and phlebotomy as directed by professional staff.
• Assist with materials management and maintenance.
• Respond to urgent requests and support the care team as needed.
